This was an incredible way to start the year. I must have been emailing with Jordan and Jennifer for almost 2 years about their wedding. After multiple postponements and an online zoom wedding, my little type-A, gamer heart was so happy for them when the day finally arrived! In addition to all of their safety measures, these two went out of their way to ensure that their guests had a wonderful time. Board games, great playlist, a multitude of dessert options from vanilla bake shop… I could go on. orchestrated a perfect day for this incredible lovely (and so, so patient) couple.

When you’re the kids of a photographer, and actors, and in quarantine...how can I not use this time to capture images of my not so little babies?

We can’t hide it any longer! We are so proud to finally be able to tell the world that our amazing Noah Salsbury Lipson will be on season 4 of !!! Season 4 premieres tomorrow night and you will get your first glimpse of Noah’s character. He has had an amazing time filming so far, and is having the time of his life. Way to go Noah, we are over the moon proud of you.

What an amazing way to end my 2018 Wedding Season! It was such a joy to watch these two interact with each other-it was beautiful and effortless and so wonderful to be able to capture. Georgette and Edward (and their bridal party-special gratitude to one of her maids of honor for all of the help at the end) :-) were just so sweet, and so much fun; it was one of those days where you look outside and suddenly-the wedding is almost over. I hope you two are having a wonderful time on your honeymoon and your choreographed dance was perfection!

Made a schedule. Stuck to a schedule. Even had extra time to spend with their friends and family during cocktail hour. Their wonderfully planned day flew by so fast! I enjoyed spending time with them from our first meeting, to their engagement session, and was so excited for Brian to meet them as well. They planned an incredible day for their friends and family at Braemar Country Club and their party went full swing well into the night. As a photographer, I really appreciated Clarissa's use of vivid, complimentary colors - they were an absolute joy to photograph. And with their generous schedule, they had time to do all of their photos and wait until the ceremony to see each other for the first time-the way David looked at Clarissa when she opened the doors to walk down the aisle almost had me in tears as well. Clarissa and David, thank you for having Brian and I capture your once in a lifetime day.

I love this time of year-and this family was the best way I could’ve hoped to kick it off! I not only loved spending time with these guys and their mom; but my absolute favorite part was that she let them be kids.

What does this mean? It’s OK to have a vision of what you want your photos to look like-and we will work together to achieve that.

But it’s also ok if they run, climb, and jump; or their hair (although these two had some amazing hair cuts)😀 or accessories aren’t perfect-because you’re capturing a moment in their lives that, as the mother of 2 myself, I know can go by in the blink of an eye. Let’s work on capturing these moments together. ❤️
