Thank you to all of our friends, family and loyal customers who have supported us over the past six years. We couldn't have done it without you. We have met so many wonderful people at our time at Amici's that have changed our lives forever. We will miss every single one of you!
Sierra, Melissa and I have made a family decision to sell Amici's. Sunday was our last day. We are no longer affiliated with the store located at 307 Shore Road, Somers Point. Much careful, agonizing thought has gone into making this happen. The main reason is to allow my daughter to move on to her new career in the medical industry. She has already started her new job.
Finally, the question most asked so far "How about the meatballs?". I also have retained the rights to all of our family recipes including Aunt Rita's Meatballs. The history of which goes back to 1991 and our original restaurant, Chipper's located in Margate. When Aunt Rita taught me how to make her meatballs, she swore me to a oath of secrecy...lol. In addition I would like to give credit to my mother for passing on to me many of her recipes and cooking skills.
Again, The Tumolo Family would like to thank each and every one of our loyal patrons for the continued support throughout the years. You are the reason we were in business to begin with. It was always our intention to do our very best every day to serve the highest quality food possible and to also treat our customers as friends. BTW, in Italian the word Amici means "friends" and we have made many along the way. Hopefully the new owners will continue that tradition. We wish them good luck!
