Union Station is Northampton's newest modernized banquet facility, however its early Gothic Romanesque building has been a fixture for over 100 years. Originally built in 1897 by renowned architect H.H. Richardson, Union Station was the pinnacle of excitement and expectation as thousands boarded trains to far off destinations. In the 19th century, Union Station hosted countless Presidents, college

students, and brave military members returning home, or departing to defend our country in scenes of both happiness and tears. Union Station began its story capturing a spectrum of emotions as travelers began their journeys, and it is in this spirit that the venue continues to provide the beginnings of stories as unique its history; weddings, events, and other captured moments in time. Union Station pairs its rich history with modernization, featuring The Roosevelt Room- a premiere 200 seat ballroom, The Tunnel Bar and The Deck restaurant, as well as adjoining ancillary spaces to allow a space for any occasion within this beacon of hospitality.

"We had Easter Brunch at the Notch 8 Grill and I can't even begin to tell you how amazing it was. They had everything on the menu!!! I've had some amazing salmon before, but the salmon I ate there was absolutely the best I have ever had! Loved that they had asparagus, my favorite veggie. Nobody has asparagus ever!!! That was just another added treat. Normally, I never bother eating the breakfast foods on a brunch because I'm not a huge breakfast fan, especially scrambled eggs. These scrambled eggs looked so delicious, I tried a little bit. Once again, they were by far, the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. My son must have eaten a dozen of those eggs and said they were the best scrambled eggs he has ever eaten as well. They have a Mother's Day Brunch coming up and something tells me, we just may celebrate Mother's Day at Notch 8. Definitely try it out. You will NOT be disappointed."

That’s right, folks! The season is upon us.

Weather is warming, weddings are wedding-ing, and our beloved historic train station turned hospitality venue is about to explode with guests and events.

We’re hiring:

Dishwashers – AKA the heroes in the back. You like water? You like soap? You’re qualified.

Hosts – Smile, nod, act like you’re in control of the chaos.

Kitchen Team – Enjoy food? Perfect. We’ll teach you the rest. Seasoned BOH folks also encouraged to apply!

Banquet Servers – Like weddings? Like (or can pretend to like) people? You’re gonna crush it.

No experience? No problem!

We’ll train you faster than you can say, “Wait, this used to be a train station?”

If you’re looking for some controlled mayhem with a paycheck, hop on board. This season is going to be one for the books and we need a crew to ride it out with us 🚂
