My couples florist was in a car accident (thankfully she’s okay), but most of the bridal bouquets were damaged.

My assistant and I went straight into problem-solving mode. We found a floral farmer close to the venue who had dahlias in our bride’s exact color scheme. I let her know right away, then drove to pick them up.

We got back with just enough time for our florist to recreate every bouquet, and the bride walked down the aisle with exactly what she wanted.

Wedding days never go 100% to plan, and that’s what a Day-of coordinator is for. Staying calm, thinking fast and making it all look seamless is the job.

When the mother of the bride didn’t have enough time to finish the flowers…..BUT it was part of the seating chart and it still needed to come together.

My assistants stepped up and got it DONE. 💐

Tag teaming like the pros they are, they turned last-minute chaos into this gorgeous finished product.

This is why I don’t do it alone.

I do it with a team that shows up. I am so proud of these two!!

This is what they mean by ‘wear many hats’ as a Day-of Coordinator.

Turns out one of those hats is ‘emergency cake support specialist.’ Not in my job description, but my couple wasn’t gonna watch a 4-tier cake go down on my watch.

So I stepped up, held on tight, stuffed the panic deep down inside and added a new skill to the resume. 🎂.
