Not your grandmother’s blue and white coastal wedding. 💙🤍

Laura and Shane’s wedding at Flanagan Farm blended New England garden elegance with an old coastal soul. Coastal blues, crisp whites, and warm wood textures set the scene, while live trees inside the tent and lush, organic florals brought the outdoors in. Hanging amaranthus, classic hydrangeas, pine, and naked sunflowers gave the arrangements a playful, slightly funky edge that felt true to the couple.

Quintessentially Maine, with a vintage spirit and a few unexpected details that made the whole design feel timeless, natural, and entirely their own. 💌

Some weddings stay with you long after the last song plays, and Sydney + Drew’s is one we’ll always hold close. 🤍

The Samoset Resort was already a special place for Sydney, filled with childhood memories. Getting married there made it all the more meaningful. A seaside ceremony, a tent filled with live trees and lush greenery, earthy tones, and a dance floor that brought the energy all night long.

Two years later, we’ve loved watching their family grow. After three weddings with this family, they’ll always be favorites of ours. They’re part of our family, and we’re so grateful to have been part of theirs. 💌

Nora + Charley had the perfect autumn day, with a ceremony overlooking the water at the beautiful St. Ann’s Episcopal Church before heading to Kennebunk River Club for cocktail hour and an evening of celebrating.

This time of year has us thinking about Melissa and Guy’s wedding weekend from this time last year! Wishing a happy anniversary to these two as we look back on all the little moments of wonder they packed into their celebration. 🥂

From a rehearsal dinner at Solo Italiano with speeches between every course to a classic Maine lobster bake at Migis Lodge, complete with a wandering magician and campfire s’mores, the festivities started strong.

The wedding day brought even more surprises, from a sunset ceremony and sushi at cocktail hour to a flash mob performance of “One Day More” from Les Misérables and an ’80s-style rock band to close out the night. A weekend full of personality, thoughtful details, and plenty of reasons to celebrate! 🎆

Sophie + Paul’s wedding day felt like early fall at its very best. 🍂

Warm golden light, cozy weather settling in as the evening went on, and an autumnal palette that felt moody, layered, and quietly luxurious.

Their ceremony took place among the trees before cocktail hour moved onto the lawn with their favorite people. Dinner followed under the sailcloth tent, where candlelight, rich textures, muted jewel tones, and family style dinner made the whole evening feel intimate and abundant. Then everyone headed into the barn to dance beneath the twinkle light canopy and brass star pendants.

And through it all, Sophie + Paul were exactly who you’d hope to work with. They were kind, warm, genuine, and incredibly inviting. A dream from start to finish, and a wedding we’ll be thinking about for a long time. 💌

One year ago, Cece and Mitch turned a blank-slate family property into a wedding weekend that felt like them: a little lavish, very welcoming, and centered around a good time. 🍾

Hay bales topped with blankets made mountain-view ceremony seating feel cozy, while Cece and her dad arrived in her family’s old red pickup truck for one of our favorite ceremony entrances ever. Then came cocktail hour with live folk music, a raw bar, charcuterie, and passed apps. Veuve Clicquot at every table sat alongside brown vintage bottle bud vases, exemplary of the lavish yet laid back energy that was so important to them.

We’ve now had the joy of working with this family three times, which made celebrating Cece and Mitch all the more special. Happy one year to the two of you! 🥂

Catherine + Jon’s wedding weekend at Twin Lake Village was whimsical, ethereal, and enchanting 🧚‍♀️

Their design featured bright colors, lush florals, and a stationery suite by Wide Eyes Paper Co. 💌 Custom Stationery that tied it all together. It was most important to C+J to have all their guests in one spot for the weekend with activities throughout to keep everyone busy and encourage socializing.

Twin Lake Village has a special place in our hearts, as we’ve been back 3 years in a row on the same weekend to celebrate 3 incredible couples. TLV has a way of attracting the most kindhearted and thoughtful couples, since they have the most kindhearted and thoughtful team!

POV: the garden cocktail hour of your dreams 🐝🌻

Dylan + Chase had a vision for their wedding weekend and it included lots of vintage decor, thoughtfully personal details, and a nontraditional timeline.

We love when our couples ditch the standards and do things their way with their specific preferences and guests in mind. 💌

D+C hosted a three day celebration starting with their wedding ceremony on Friday at Fuller Gardens followed by a fun, relaxed Dinner on the water at Morrisons Lobsters with their closest family and friends.

Saturday, they invited their full guest count to celebrate at a Welcome Party at Portsmouth Gas Light Co. with brews, tunes, and water views.

Finally, on Sunday they had their main event at South Berwick Maine Wedding Venue | Hamilton House starting with a cocktail hour in the garden, a short informal ceremony recap, and then a tented reception.

Our favorite weddings to work on are the ones where our couples challenge the norms and help us rethink how we do things. A shared love for all things vintage goes a long way as well, of course. 😉❤️
