NOMAC is proud to announce our newest Artist Resident, Choreographer, Dancer and Educator Elana Lanczi who will be creating, working and playing in the space through early December. Elana will be developing her piece "Equal-librium," a contemporary dance work which will use the topic of gender equality as a catalyst for exploration. Mixed ability workshop organized by Christina Acosta and the Dance Program at Hillsborough Community College, Ybor City Campus, and facilitated by Antiheroes Project on September 27, 2014. Movers of all abilities joined together to use creative movement techniques, musical instruments, and sounds to create short performance pieces. This workshop was part of the Wanderers Series of Antiheroes Project.

Congratulations to NOMAC: North Miami Arts Collective Artist Residents Antiheroes Project on all the recent press coverage! This weekend they take their production of NOMADIS to the Miami Theater Center and the presentation on Saturday, September 13, will be a very special one. This will be the first time in which the organization will provide Audio Description services and a Touch Tour for the blind or visually impaired community. The Touch Tour will start at 6:45 pm; if you want to participate, make sure you arrive on time. ASL interpretation, assistive listening devices, Braille and large print programs and English supertitles will also be provided this night.
