With today’s New York Times article highlighting Dolly Parton’s new stage show, we’re taking a moment to celebrate our long history with the queen herself.

Over the years, Western Costume’s own Tzetzi Ganev made many of Dolly’s unforgettable stage costumes, including the one in this fitting photo, as well as costumes for NINE TO FIVE (1980) and STEEL MAGNOLIAS (1989). As Head of our Ladies’ Workroom for decades, Tzetzi and her team at Western helped bring Dolly’s sparkle to life, one sequin at a time.
