Thanks to the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation, Maine-based playwright Julia Jennings joined us for a ten-day playwriting residency. During her time on North Haven, she led a playwriting workshop and a reading of her play, “The Poor Clares,” a play about women who live together and are all named Clare.

Thank you Julia!! We all enjoyed our time with you!

UPDATE: after speaking to Horch this morning we have decided to close the ferry terminal side entrance of the Waterman's main building for the duration of our roofing project. This will give them space to safely demo the roof and ensure that the potential errant shingle wont be a concern for our patrons and programs attendees.

PLEASE USE THE MAIN STREET ENTRANCE until further notice.

The safety area will, at times, create a single lane into/out of the ferry terminal parking lot, so please use caution when driving in and out this week.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
