Shout out to Nene R. Chandler for calling me at 11:24pm to see if we can use some catered food. When our founder walked into the venue a lady said....you were the lady on the news.
Nene didn't want to throw away the chicken, meatballs, macaroni and cheese, string beans and baked beans from a graduation party at the Vault. It was also great to see and hug Tara for support. When people say to us that we are a blessing. We just reply by saying...thank you.
This is what happens when people see, know and support Lending Helping Hands. People can tell when it is from the heart.
Lending Helping Hands is more than our name, lending helping hands is what we do.
