Hey everyone! This post is basically for all of our new followers or anyone else who is having a hard time trying to navigate through Porky Pete's page. Facebook Business makes it really difficult for you to find anything. I even have a hard time finding things and I'm the one who created it, LOL! I feel like there should be just one page where I can showcase everything we sell with catering info, prices, how we do things, etc...
On our homepage, if you look under the red logo, you'll see the menu tab. Click that and all the photos will pop up. If you click on the photo the description and price will pop up. See how FB makes it difficult?
We can cater anything on the menu. But, we do have a set menu called "Big Event Catering". We use this menu for weddings, engagement parties, company luncheons, any event size that's 20 or more people. The price is $28 per person but that is just for a simple drop-off. In the description, it says that if you want us to set up buffet-style, where we come in and serve, set up our tables, tents, etc... that requires me to have to bring in a team and that is an additional $225 on top of the $28 per person. This requires half of the total cost being paid in advance to take that day off our calendar and hold that day for you. The deposit goes towards the food which we start purchasing a week prior to the event date. After the food has been bought, that money is NON-REFUNDABLE. We require the remainder of the money to be paid anytime before or on event day BEFORE we start setting up. Call me anytime for more details.
We can also custom-create any type of menu for you. We can even do breakfast for your company if you'd like. Just give me a call.
We offer lunch delivery on Thursdays and Fridays, from 10am to 2 pm in the North Charleston area. There is a $5 delivery fee for deliveries outside of our 5-mile radius. We have a seasonal menu called "Thursday / Friday Lunch Menu" that you can find under our menu tab on the home screen. Click on the picture for the prices and description. This is a seasonal menu that changes every couple of weeks.
Please keep in mind that we are a catering company, not a restaurant. So, for our lunch menu, we don't keep anything on hand. We don't take orders on Thurs or Fri. We ask that you place your orders anytime Mon-Wed, with a drop-off time and a location. We do this for companies like Joint Base Charleston, Boeing, The Charleston Port Authority, etc...basically anyone who doesn't have much time for a lunch break. Group orders work best. Doing it this way, we know what needs to be purchased, and your orders come right off the grill or right out of the smoker and we're there right at the start of your lunch break. Our deliveries run from 10:30am to 2pm.
All of our cooking is done outdoors over a live fire using cast iron and our barbecue is smoked overnight in our cinder block pits. It is very labor-intensive.
