This is a statement that I live by which is echoed in the scriptures:

People should be able to find solace and comfort in your words.

During the process of designing, and executing events, I form king-standing relationships with people. They need to know that you are genuinely looking out for their best interest.

🎶🎶Just Let me introduce myself. My name’s KHALIA🎶🎶

I hope you caught the old school reference 😄

It’s been a while so I figured I would do an “about me post” about things that I love.

1. FAMILY. Family doesn’t necessarily refer to blood relation, but people that you have intimate relationships with. Family is your closest inner circle of friends and loved ones. I believe that no one is an island, and all of us require deep connections with people

2. TRAVEL. I LOVE to travel. My family and I recently returned from my 40th/18th wedding anniversary/ summer vacation in South Africa. We loved the people, the picturesque landscape, the wildlife…everything. If South Africa isn’t on your bucket list I suggest adding it.

3. FLOWERS. My favorite flower are double tulips. They aren’t widely available all year but they are soft and delicate, yet unique enough to command attention (like me 🤷🏾‍♀️). Flowers are moos enhancers - they are easy pick-me-ups when you’re feeling down. They also elevate any celebration - party, gathering, or wedding.

Prioritizing your wedding “must do” list is something your designer requires in order to focus the design of your wedding.

STRATEGY: I always suggest that clients use a top 10 strategy: assign a numeric value to the top 10 items on your priority list.

BUDGET: Then incorporate the estimated costs of those items into your budget. If your budget allows for more items, the assign numerical values to the next 20 items on your list.

Eliminate the lower values items if the budget doesn’t allow for items on your top 10 list.
