It’s National Arts in Education Week! 🎨🎶

We asked members of the Strathmore team to share some of their favorite memories of experiencing the arts in school—and why arts education continues to matter.

The arts teaches students to be more empathetic, expressive, and connected to their communities. Every community deserves art in their schools.❤️

Wishing all MCPS students a fabulous start to the school year! 📚✨

We’re proud to partner with Montgomery County Public Schools on providing free arts education programs through our Bloom Access Initiative.

Between after-school strings instruction, Step Up with Step Afrika! arts camps, and our beloved 2nd Grade Classical and 5th Grade Blues Concerts at the Music Center—we're working together to make the arts accessible to all students.💛
