Looking at the quality of the design and the amount of work involved, I would comfortably quote $3,500 for the silk-flower package. If the venue is farther away or requires additional staff, I would increase the price to $3,800–$4,000.
A quote around $3,500 reflects the elegant design, rentals, transportation, setup, and breakdown while still being competitive for New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. It also leaves room for a healthy profit instead of only covering your costs.
Many want to celebrate an occasion but expect things to be free or almost free. I am embarrassed to say what was charged and the work that was done, only to be humiliated and un appreciated for the extras done.
That will not happen again.
