We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

Between the crazy gas prices, my work schedule, the end of indoor carpet season, and one of my regular racing venues suspending racing operations, I've decided to take some time off from racing for a little bit. But I'm by no means out of the game! I've always got my ear to the ground for races in the area. I've also been busy planning and organizing my own special events! Should hopefully have some fun announcements in the near future!

To say that it’s a tight points race for the HobbyTown Batavia Raceway Winter Points Series is a massive understatement! Currently leading both the Losi NASCAR points by a single point and the Traxxas Street Stock by a tiny bit too. Let’s see how we stack up tomorrow for round 7!

Light turnout, loads of fun! Had a great night at Parkside Raceway. Losi NASCAR started off a little sluggish, but after swapping the motor, this thing turned into a rocket! Took the TQ and the win. I found an old Slash body in storage today and retrofitted it to the ARRMA Furry. Qualified 3rd overall, showed glimpses of greatness, but the off-road aces at Parkside pervaded in the end, having to settle with a 4th place finish. It was the same story with the ARRMA Mojave GROM, just couldn’t find a consistent rhythm and struggled with traction issues most of the night. Still had a blast and can’t commend Tim and the crew enough for everything they do to put on these races for us. Fantastic night of concrete oval racing at Parkside Raceway Chicagoland! They added roughly an additional 8’ to the straights, which made for a super fast, fun and perfectly slick layout. Took the TQ spot and won in both Losi NASCAR and Street Stock! I’ve put a ton of work into the Traxxas Slash, including replacing a number of parts with RPM R/C Products, and a new Savox USA servo, and It drives so much better now, so proud that I was able to perform the way I did in only my third time ever running the class and against Street Stock buggies with 17.5 brushless systems! Qualified second In the A Main for chaoticly fun ARRMA Fury class, took home third in the end. Amazing night overall!
