William Wymore didn’t just win the gumbo cook-off — his gumbo wowed the crowd and the judges, earning top honors and serious bragging rights. Rich, soulful, and packed with flavor, it was the kind of gumbo people are still talking about.

Will is also an Oklahoma filmmaker, bringing creativity and heart to everything he does — whether it’s on screen or in the pot. He’s joined today by his wife, Annie, and we’re thrilled to celebrate them both as they lead the parade in true Mardi Gras style.

Give it up for great gumbo, great art, and a fantastic Grand Marshal! 🎉

Stephen Holman and Morgan Duke are true Norman locals through and through. Both grew up right here, attending Kennedy, Irving, and Norman High — and they’ve never stopped being part of the fabric of our community.

These days, they work together in real estate, and you might still spot Stephen at Friendly Market and the Deli from time to time. Stephen also proudly serves our city as the Mayor of Norman.

We’re honored to have them representing Norman Mardi Gras this year — local roots, community spirit, and plenty of parade-day royalty energy ✨
