Exploring the true(ish) story of John Wesley Powell and his accompanying crew’s 1869 exploration of the Colorado River and Grand Canyon, Backhaus’ play is based on the published diary of Powell, who recorded his team’s adventures.

Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Westhoff Theatre.

Next Saturday night join us for the first performance of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra in the Concert Hall of the Center for the Performing Arts, Virtuosic Voices. We are so excited for this joint venture and to host incredible performances for our students and community here at Illinois State.

Know of a current undergraduate student at ISU looking for a great part-time job opportunity? Have them fill out an application for the CPA Box Office! We have a set schedule during the week and try to have the events for the semester scheduled within the first couple weeks of class to accommodate class and personal schedules.

Must be self-motivated, good with technology, experience with a ticketing system a plus, and have great customer service skills!

The Fall Semester will be here soon, and we have so many wonderful performances to share with everyone!
