We didn’t have much time to take pictures or post them last weekend. We were busy working hard all day to provide 3 meals on Saturday at an amazing event.

We came back on Sunday and got to share our world famous cobbler (strawberry, peach, cherry, and apple) before the event wrapped up.

Very happy to be a part of DadCamp Illinois 2025 and what an amazing weekend.

Spent the weekend serving up biscuits and gravy, smoked tacos, ribeyes, and brats for gun show in Bloomington Illinois.

We had a good time and always have to fight the urge to buy everything in sight

Next Sunday if you are close to Blue Mound Illinois think about making the trip over to enjoy a fun filled day to raise funds for the Meridian Elementary PTO.

A DJ will be on site helping everyone play music bingo(with cash prizes). There will also be a 50/50 drawing, silent auction, and a cash bar.

Loman’s Backyard Barbecue will be cooking up some good food for this event. Pulled Pork Nachos will be on the menu. We will be donating a portion of our proceeds back to the PTO.

If you don’t have any plans on Sunday January 12th. Take the trip to Blue Mound and come enjoy some food and fun.

3rd Sunday Market are we going to be hungry this Sunday?

Make your way back to the food court area and try our smoked tacos and smoked chicken wings (Buffalo, Barbecue, Parmesan Garlic, or Dry Rub. We will also have smoked brats and come early for breakfast and try our new Belgium waffles 🧇.

We are excited for this weekends show and will have some good food for you.

One thing I will always do is look for an opportunity to serve those that serve us. And serve those that need serving.

Today Loman’s Backyard Barbecue made a commitment to donate 200 chicken wings for the PTO luncheon for the grade school that our children attend.

The caring nature of this school and work that the staff puts in to make sure these children have the tools they need is nothing short of exceptional. This small donation by us is very much an opportunity we are glad to have.

We have a feeling the teachers are going tomorrow enjoy these wings.

The smoke is rolling and the pulled pork nachos and smoked tacos 🌮 are going over very well.

We have cornbread, pit smoke beans, they added an extra hot dog option for everyone and our world famous homemade chocolate chips cookies

They made some cool signage for the break room and some tickets to handout to their employees for their choice of meal. Pretty cool day to be serving the hard working people of XPO!!!!
