This holiday season, I was reminded of something powerful: sometimes, the greatest gift we can offer isn’t wrapped in paper—it’s simply showing up with intention, love, and light.
When I was asked to decorate a tree for a client, she didn’t just provide ornaments—she brought magic. The Disney Mickey Mouse theme for their first grandchild came alive in a way that made even grown-ups feel like wide-eyed children again. Watching the transformation unfold, my sister Brenda and I stood in awe—just as delighted as the client, maybe even more. In that room, we weren’t just decorating a tree—we were creating a memory. One that whispered, “Joy still lives here.”
It reminded me that when we show up fully, when we bring our gifts, our care, and our creativity into the lives of others, we can brighten more than a room—we can brighten someone’s entire day… maybe even their entire season.
This is your reminder: you have the power to light someone up. Whether it’s a smile, a call, a hug, a surprise bouquet from Belinda’s Florist, or just asking “How are you really doing?”—your presence can be someone’s miracle.
