🚨 VENUE UPDATE: NORFOLK WATERFRONT JAZZ FESTIVAL 🎷

The 43rd Annual Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival, presented by Sentara Health Plans, on Friday & Saturday, August 21 & 22, 2026, has been relocated to the Norfolk Scope Arena in Downtown Norfolk.

After carefully monitoring the weather and consulting with local and national weather partners, Norfolk Festevents has made the decision to relocate the festival to Scope Arena in the interest of public safety and operational readiness. The forecasted storms during the event setup window presented potential risks for crews, contractors, and volunteers, in addition to concerns about attendee comfort and safety. Relocating to Scope Arena allows us to prioritize the safety of everyone involved while still delivering the high-quality festival experience our guests expect. The event was originally scheduled to be held at Town Point Park.

🚪 Doors open at 5 PM Friday and 4:30 PM Saturday

PLEASE NOTE: Personal chairs, wagons, and coolers, including outside food and beverages, are not permitted inside Scope Arena. Clear bags are not required, but all bags are subject to search.

🎟️ Advance ticketholders are encouraged to enter through the Exhibition Hall entrance. Will Call and guests purchasing tickets should enter through the Scope Box Office in the Scope parking garage.

🅿️ Parking is available in the Scope parking garage, with additional parking at the Charlotte Street Garage and Bank Street Garage. Event rates apply.

🤠 We’re excited to welcome Hunter Flynn to the NashFest757 lineup!

Known for his soul-shattering vocals and authentic songwriting, Hunter is one of Appalachia’s most promising young artists. The Kentucky native has performed at major venues and festivals across the U.S. and Europe and was named the 2025 Artist in Residence at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame.

Describing his sound as “Appalachian Soul,” Flynn blends country, folk, soul, gospel and Southern rock with raw, reflective lyrics rooted in the landscapes, stories and emotional honesty of Appalachia.
