Since 1974 we have sold, leased, installed and maintained top quality live and silk tropical plants to the finest offices, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and homes throughout Eastern Virginia and North Eastern North Carolina. TROPICARE takes great pride in the degree of professionalism it has brought to the relatively new tropical plant sales and service industry, while offering competitive pricing structures for every size budget. We have extensive experience with the special requirements for the installation and service of tropical plants in high traffic public areas such as malls, hotels, restaurants, etc., and give this same quality service and attention to our smaller projects. TROPICARE is locally owned and operated. We hand pick the best available material from a vast resource of nurseries and greenhouses in Florida and oversee the shipping to our facilities or the job site. When possible we use local growers for seasonal blooming plants and hanging baskets. Top quality silk and preserved plants are available for indoor use as well as realistic "polyblend" shrubbery, trees and plants for outdoor use. Our services also include creative custom design or we will work with your interior designer or your architect’s specifications. We use only environmentally safe chemicals for indoors and are Charter Sponsors of the Foliage for Clean Air Council, a national organization concerned with indoor air quality and the purifying properties of tropical plants. A wide selection of outdoor trees, shrubbery, and colorful blooming annuals are available for planting in containers by pools, on patios, decks and balconies or at entryways to homes and buildings. We have over 8,000 square feet of greenhouses stocked with lush ferns, beautiful palms, Ficus trees and other exotic plants available for rental for your special event. We specialize in stage events, trade shows, weddings and tropical theme dinners and parties. Call us for more details on this custom service. Job references are available upon request.
