When the vision becomes reality.

One of my favorite parts of our client's night was bringing their vision of glitz + glamour to life. Although they loved the concept illustrations I presented, seeing the sketch during the planning process helps us both clearly communicate and the client to share their desire for "moody" and "art deco".

These floral and feather structures were built to create impact — and the before/after still gives me chills. Event design is storytelling… and this story was all glitz, glamour, and magic. 🎄✨🎨💐

Ok, there's a lot of chatter about Pantone's new selection for 2026 "color" of the year, "Cloud Dancer". So, let's talk about it. Last year's choice of Mocha Mousse was unusual but with it's rich, earthy feel and warm undertones it was easy to partner it with other colors to create an intriguing moody look.

This year’s selection is once again not a traditional hue but instead is a neutral...a shade of white. For event design and clients, featuring white can be a little tricky than you think. The truth is focusing on Cloud Dance (a shade of white) in a design's color palette can go from clear, sophisticated, airy, modern, and fresh to stark, unfinished, empty, plain, cold, generic and boring. The good news is when you design with intention, imagination, and the right techniques and principles... especially with the addition of other hues/colors to make the end results can be soulful and stunning.

So, let's continue the discussion at Vivid Expressions LLC and look at the creative ways we can take "Cloud Dancer" and craft dreamy design.

What a night! After weeks of designing, crafting, and bringing the magic to life, we finally revealed this year’s Miracle Christmas Pop-Up Bar at Rocky Mountain Grill — and last night’s Preview Party was pure holiday joy.

From the behind-the-scenes hustle to the final sparkle, it was amazing to watch guests walk in, light up, snap photos, sing karaoke, and fully immerse themselves in the over-the-top holiday wonderland we created.

Huge love to my incredible team for their talent and hard work — and thank you to everyone who shared so many kind words with us last night. ❤️🎁
