Mayor Chris Jensen announced today the 45 local establishments that are recipients of the second round of Noblesville Small Business Resilience Grants.
The grant was created to help small businesses and organizations with unmet immediate needs such as maintaining payroll, paying rent and utilities, paying for personal protective equipment and sanitation supplies, and covering other expenses to remain operational and serve customers and clients. Based on demonstrated need, the grants provided up to $10,000 per small business impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and $5,000 to local businesses who opened within the last year or received funding from the first round.
“COVID-19 continues to impact our local business and how they operate safely, which is why we offered a second round of grants,” said Jensen. “We want to make sure our local businesses have the tools they need to continue to keep our residents employed, to serve residents in the safest way possible, and to stay open for business.”
Recipients include: 12 Stars Media, 9th Street Bistro, ABC Ballroom, Across The Pond, American Legion Post 45, Animal Arts Pet Grooming Salon, Banter's Fresh Meats, Barley Island Brewing Co., Bash Boutique, BeeFree Gluten Free, Bica Café, Biryani Hut Indy, Books & Brews - Noblesville, Caravan Classes, Certified Nails, Circle City Cleaners One, LLC, Grindstone Public House, Heavenly Sweets Cakes/Noblesville, Indiana, Indiana Taekwondo Academy, Jim Dandy Noblesville, karisma, LASH & Esthetic Studio, Lil Bloomers, Linden Tree, Ling's Oriental Martial Arts, Lucky star buffet, Maria's Mexican Grill, Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano, Michaelangelo's Italian Bistro, Morse Lake Nail and Spa, Noblesville Antiques on the Square, Primeval Brewing, Pure Barre, Revive Salon & Spa Studio, Rowland Printing, Smith's Jewelers, SmithHouse, Styles n' Smiles Family Salon, Syd's Bar and Grill, Texy Mexy, The Nesst, The Velvet Plum Vintage & Consignments, Thistle & Thyme Home Store, Sunrise Cafe at Uptown - Noblesville and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6246.
The city’s small business grant program intends to help those businesses that may not be eligible for other assistance or that have immediate needs beyond that which can be met by other federal and state assistance programs.
“I encourage residents to continue to support local businesses and if you are looking for places to support, I recommend our
www.cityofnoblesville.org/LoveNoblesville website, which has a business services database and other resources,” said Jensen. “Together we can fight this pandemic and come out the other side stronger than ever.”
