On cloud nine that Caitlin & Van’s stunning wedding is featured in the Chicago Spring/ Summer 2026 issue of Wedding Day Magazine! The vision they shared for their day was focused on family and friends beginning with an evening cruise on Lake Michigan to view the Chicago skyline on Friday evening and ending with a casual come as you are brunch on Sunday. They chose a venue that was already full of bold color, but instead of shying away from bringing yet more color to the space, they did the exact opposite. It may have seemed counterintuitive to do so, but the result was undeniably bold, eclectic and elegant at the same time. This family has trusted me to plan three weddings for them and as a planner, there is no higher honor than to be chosen again and again. For that, I am so grateful.
