ANYTHING to get the shot!

I used to wonder why I was sore and exhausted after shoots and then realized I hold ridiculous poses and totally disregard comfort to make SURE I get that perfect shot! Honestly...worth it. 😍

Guys this wedding was a BLAST 🤩 Sarah and Jason were so chill and fun! ✨

Aaaaaand I got to ride in the streetcar for the first time! They took the streetcar from 21C to and I only had one near miss by a car trying to video the group. Whoops. 😅

I can’t wait to share the rest of their beautiful day with you all (especially those speeches 😆)!

Kyle and Logan were my first “adapted wedding” -- They cut the guest list to just family, changed the location and didn’t miss a beat! 👏🏽
Their venue was lovely and the intimacy of such a small group was honestly the best part. 😌💕 Watching the family connect, dance, and enjoy each other was truly beautiful.

Can we give a big hand to our covid couples?! 👏🏼 I’m so impressed with everyone who is planning a wedding right now! 😌🤯
Whitney and Matt are honestly just contagious (bad covid joke 😅) with their enjoyment of each other. I know how important love is when choosing your future partner, but these two show me how imperative it is to have FUN and enjoy them!! 💕

God bless Instagram for up to ten photos! Yes I’m two short but that’s not the point 😏
I can’t tell you how much I love being a part of surprise shenanigans! Hailey was the only one out of the know for this surprise engagement party, and it came with a a few twists and turns (a fake engagement shoot and a last minute relocation 😅).
SUCH fun. Their friends toasted them and shared their best hopes and wishes for their marriage and then ate really good Bundt cake 🤤🤤🤤
What about you all, where do you land in regards to surprises? Panicked and horrified or delighted and excited? 😌🥳

While yes, I'm meant to be a fly on the wall as I capture the day, people tend to forget this fly has ears. 😏
Weird and kind of gross way to say that I love being privy to the more private parts of the day! While nothing scandalous is usually revealed (super sad because I am morbidly curious of other people's lives) it means I get to see glances only intended for their love or hear sweet words to each other.
I simply melted during Alex and Mikayla's first dance when I could just hear Alex repeating under his breath "you're so beautiful" to his new bride. Too. dang. sweet! 😍
