Big shoutout to Michael Johnson for the incredible job he did giving our Instagram a full facelift!

Michael is a Universtiy of Iowa student-athlete who’s building a portfolio of branding and digital work, and we were lucky to be one of his first projects.

He helped clean up our bio, organize pinned posts, design a logo with matching branded highlight covers, and create a more professional, easy-to-navigate feed and he’s offering the same kind of work to other small businesses.

From cocktail party to baby shower and anything in between, we have you covered with our Cameo Room. We have this room available for small parties, special events, family get togethers, office parties, graduation parties, graduations, etc. it can also be used in conjunction with the ballroom. The space will accommodate 60-75 people. Please feel free to reach out to us for pricing and availability.

Welcome to Hotel Maytag Ballroom and Event Center. We host events from small group events to large weddings and receptions. We have a large ballroom that has been beautifully restored to host large events. We have a smaller cameo room that has also been beautifully restored to host showers, birthday parties, graduation parties, business meetings/parties and cocktail gatherings. In addition to the ballroom and cameo room, we have a bridal suite and groom’s room for getting ready on your special day.
