Hard to believe it’s already been one month since Aine & Jeff’s wedding at the Weekapaug Inn. 💚

Some weddings just stay with you. Disco balls and greenery floating overhead, blue hydrangeas welcoming guests at the tent, a sailcloth tent glowing on the lawn as the sun went down, and a dance floor that never emptied. Every detail felt like them, and watching it all come to life on the Rhode Island coast was a dream.

Aine & Jeff, thank you for trusting us with your day. We’re still smiling. ✨

A tented wedding at Smith Farm Gardens in East Haddam, glowing at the moment the sky turned pink and dinner was in full swing.

We handled full planning and design for Brittany and Curt, which means no detail was overlooked, from visual items like the graceful lighting design and the signature drink frames, to coordinating rental deliveries and shuttle schedules.

This is the moment we work toward on every tented wedding. The lawn is quiet, but the drinks are flowing and the tent is filled with laughter.

A tented wedding at Weekapaug Inn, where the Rhode Island coast met fluffy hydrangeas, glittery mirror balls, and a dance floor ready to be packed.

A sailcloth tent is one of our favorite canvases to work within. You get freedom of an outdoor celebration with every detail under your control. For this one, we layered exquisite linens in soft blue and sage, set towering hydrangea arrangements on the tables, and hung beautiful ruffled pendant lights overhead. Later, we were ready to party, with mirror balls wrapped in trailing greenery above a checkerboard dance floor, and a bed of blooms at the foot of the band's stage.

Elegant enough for dinner, but ready for those shouts of "ONE MORE SONG!" at the end of the night.

Cows were unpaid actors.
Emilia and Nick's ceremony took place on the family's farm in Stonington, CT, which had never hosted a wedding before, but with that gorgeous backdrop, how could we not?
Swipe to see what the rest of the property looked like that day. Hint - sailcloth tent, big red barn, and custom walking paths, all on land that's been in the family for decades.

Two properties, one unforgettable day for S+C.
A ceremony overlooking Long Island Sound on one private waterfront estate, then a vintage trolley ride to a second property for cocktails on the lawn and dinner under a sailcloth tent.
Two full setups, two rain plans, a custom route for guest transportation, intentional landscaping across both sites, and it still felt completely effortless to everyone there.
That's the magic of planning a private property wedding with someone who specializes in these incredible events.

Mallory + Garrett 🤍

From the aisle kiss that had the whole church on its feet, to a reception where every design detail came together just as we dreamed it, this day was pure magic from start to finish.

Saltwater Farm Vineyard was the perfect backdrop, and the candlelit tables, elegant florals, and greenery-draped crystal chandeliers made the room feel like a celebration. Don't even get me started on the dance party 🪩

Mallory, Garrett, and both of your families, thank you for trusting me with a day this special. It was an honor to bring your vision to life.

A tasting today turned into a memory tonight.

Sitting across from a couple planning their wedding at Smith Farm Gardens earlier this week brought me right back to A & N's wedding and honestly, I love these reminders of why I do this work.

The most remarkable alfresco dinner at golden hour, the bridesmaids in their gorgeous dresses, the incomparable landscaping at the venue, and one of the sweetest couples I ever worked with.

This is what a wedding feels like when nothing is forced and everything is intentional.
