Looking for reception decoration ideas that feel personal and make a big impact? 🤍

One of our BKP couples created this beautiful DIY wedding seating chart using plywood, fabric, cardstock, and wax seals to match their dusty blue wedding colors and honestly, we loved how personal it felt.

✨ Outdoor wedding tip: because we’re a coastal North Carolina wedding venue, humidity is a real thing. We reinforced the wax seals with double-sided tape so everything stayed beautiful all day long.

Matthew + Cari had back and forth time with rain and sunshine and thankfully, the skies decided to cooperate just in time 💙✨

After keeping a close eye on some spring weather, everything cleared at the perfect moment for these two to say “I do” surrounded by so much love, laughter, and the BEST kind of celebration.

Their family and friends showed up ready to celebrate BIG, and with an amazing team of wedding professionals helping bring the day together, this Friday wedding turned into such a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best wedding days come with a little flexibility (and maybe checking the weather app a few extra times 😉).

🐾 FAQ: Do you allow furbabies at Butterfly Kisses Pavilion?

The answer is YES! We know your furry best friend is family, and we love seeing them be part of your big day. 🤍

To help keep your wedding day stress-free and safe for everyone, we do have a few simple guidelines:
✨ Furbabies may arrive up to 1 hour before the ceremony and stay up to 1 hour after the ceremony
✨ They must be friendly and leashed.

One thing we always recommend? Consider a professional wedding pet sitter so your VIP pup can be included without pulling a friend or family member away from celebrating with you. 🐶

We know an amazing local service that specializes in wedding + event pet care and can help with transportation, potty breaks, photos, and getting your pet home safely after their starring role.

Some wedding days just leave you smiling long after the last dance… and this one absolutely did. 🤍

From the sweet moments shared with their beautiful baby to those quiet, dreamy portraits just after sunset (seriously… the lighting was chef’s kiss ✨), this day was full of love, laughter, and the kind of joy you can feel.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends and even with their best friend cheering them on LIVE all the way from Africa 🌍 their wedding day felt intimate, heartfelt, and so very them.

We laughed a lot with these two throughout the day, and honestly? Their fun-loving personalities made every moment even sweeter. Funny, kind, and clearly best friends …the perfect mix for a beautiful beginning.
