What is Off The Beaten Path? Maybe you just stumbled across this page.Maybe someone referred you to us. Maybe you already know us, but we have had some changes. After a couple of years on break, we are back up and running at 100%.
We are an Officiant service, not the stuffy polite "follow the rules" type (although we do those, we just promise to make them fun and personal too). Our goal in life is not to jump through all of the expected hoops or make you take out a loan. Our goal is to make your wedding day, actually about YOU and your partner. Maybe you're not a suit and tie and expensive dress kind of couple. Maybe you're an unconventional couple. Your love is all that we need. It's your relationship! We have done weddings in mansions, venues, Inns, hardware stores, cabins, homes, backyards, campgrounds, parks, a tattoo parlor Riverfront, creek side, a fishing pond, mountain tops, community centers,forests, fields, farms, restaurants,
courtyard lawn, parking lots, pavilions, too many to mention them all. No place is out of the question. If it's your vibe, we're here for it. Top of a waterfall? On a pontoon boat or even a raft? The point is, it is YOUR day. Make yourselves happy and have the cutest,quirkiest and happiest day of your lives. We have had ceremonies in front of 100+ and with only the couple. We've had kids and grandparents in the mix, even a dog as a best man. Some of our attendees have included geese, peacocks, deer with trains rumbling by. We are willing to travel if that's what you want. We are also happy to meet you on the same day that you pick up your license for a quick inexpensive "formality" ceremony. We hope that we have made every one of our couples feel equally important. Taking complimentary digital photos is something that we do for every ceremony.
Who is Off The Beaten Path?
That's me, Donna. I LOVE what I do! This particular ceremony was done with the Smoky Mountains as their witness, in the rain. I've done them in the hottest part of the summer day, crisp Fall with the wind whipping, freezing cold and snow. The weather doesn't always cooperate, it just adds to the memory and we roll with it. I hand write each ceremony and will incorporate your relationship history into it, if you like.
