I am currently looking into forming a Non-Profit called Friends of the Friend Zone. I need to start recruiting board members that can dedicate time for monthly meetings, fundraising, expertise in grant writing, legal matters, advertising and event planning/management.

This new non-profit may be the key to getting funds for our own building for sensory friendly play, meetings and hopefully cafe. It can also mean new equipment, sponsored events that will be free to our community members and so much more.

I have enjoyed every one of you who have come to play at the Sensory Gym. I'll be switching gears and offering online support sessions as a Certified Autism Support Specialist while I work out the new location details. Friday, June 13th, 2025 will be the last day for The Friend Zone at The Newport Recreation Center. I will be there Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10-2 until then.

If you purchased a ten pass and have unused entries, you may use them between now and then or ask at the Recreation Center front desk for an exchange or refund.

The Santa Mini Photo Shoot will still take place, just at a different venue this year. I know a lot of you are already looking forward to that.

I am currently looking into a new location and in the meantime, will be launching Autism Support Coaching Services online. I will post more about those service as I finalize logistics.
