The Wedding Tree at Vinewood is by far the most popular outdoor ceremony site for our couples. Imagine exchanging your vows beneath the leafy canopy of an ancient pecan tree with a picturesque backdrop of the hillside and rolling pastures beyond. The Wedding Tree of Vinewood is ideally situated to provide ample shade for your guests all the while allowing the sun to cast dappled light through her branches as it sets beyond the horizon. Additionally, Vinewood Stable offers her rustic horse barn and pastures for your dream wedding ceremony and reception or special occasion. The Stables date back to the 1830’s when it served as an Atlanta area working barn for Vinewood’s original cotton fields. It has recently been renovated with all the amenities necessary for your wedding or event, all the while maintaining the rustic charm of a grand old barn. Upon entering The Stables’ foyer, the rustic elegance is apparent, from the reclaimed brick flooring to the twelve light chandelier overhead. The historic horse barn’s interior is clad in antique oak and heart pine. The rustic interior once housed sixteen horse stalls but has now been opened up to accommodate any style event you can imagine. In addition to the 5,000 square foot main hall, The Stables includes a built-in bar area, handicap accessible restrooms, and a large catering service area. Surrounding The Stables are acres of pastures with rolling hills peppered with ancient oaks. The fire pit, nestled in the field just behind The Stables, has become a favorite location for guests to retire to during the reception as evening approaches. Vinewood Stables also offers some wonderful items that add to this rustic horse barn’s authentic character. Included in the venue rental fee are harvest tables custom made from antique heart pine and mix-matched vintage wooden chairs to seat up to 150 guests. If you are anticipating over 150 guests, we provide additional tables and bench seating for up to 250 guests maximum at an additional fee. We also include a 20 X 20 dance floor, vintage pub tables, oak bourbon barrels, strung cafe lights, burlap table runners, hundreds of mason jars, old ironstone crockery, milk glass vases and tinware pitchers for flowers, metal lanterns, crates, vintage books and a variety of rustic chalkboards. Previously, Vinewood Stables was reserved for only a select few to revel in her beauty. However, in 2011, Vinewood Stables was opened to couples as a canvas to paint the rustic wedding ceremony and reception of their dreams. Since opening Vinewood Stables has been realized as a much sought after venue and has been featured in a number of upscale magazines such as Southern Living , Modern Luxury Atlantan Brides, Occasions and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and also featured on several well known wedding blogs; for example, Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, Southern Weddings, 100 Layer Cake, Ruffled, Rustic Wedding Chic and The Wedding Chicks.
