Hey friends! Quick EBB and family update - we are officially on baby watch for Annie’s arrival!
Right now, we are not booking any public or private events for September or October, with Annie making her arrival at some point over the next few weeks!
We were scheduled for a mid-October delivery, but with Annie’s Complete AV Canal Heart Defect, Down Syndrome diagnosis, and Abnormal Dopplers with the umbilical cord blood flow, our doctors are hoping we can make it several more weeks before delivery. But she could arrive any day!
We WILL be doing some Pre-Order Pick-Up days for Brunswick Stew, Pulled Pork, and Homemade Sides over the next few months!
We cannot say “thank you” enough to everyone who has been so understanding as we take this time to focus on our little family. The families, businesses, churches, and organizations we planned to serve have been SO incredibly gracious - and we are so grateful.
We are also so thankful for our friends at Alley’s Barbecue, Smokin Mo’s Barbecue LLC, and H.J. Wings & Things Tyrone for jumping on these events for us. We may be competitors on paper, but we are all friends in real life.
And while we may not be in the kitchen full-time over the next several weeks, we are working behind the scenes on some BIG things!
- Three new original BBQ sauces and rubs that we hope to launch in early 2027
- A new Point of Sale system to make online ordering and payment seamless for our Thanksgiving and Christmas Pick-Ups
- Some BIG plans for EBB coming in 2028
- And there’s a rumor that a new EBB merch drop might be happening
While this season looks a little different than we originally planned, The Lord’s plans for EBB have ALWAYS been better than ours. The Lord has been with us through all the hills and valleys. We are at total peace with Annie’s diagnoses and this next season - and we cannot wait for her to join the EBB family!
