Last February began with a search across Atlanta for the perfect ballroom—Annie, her soon-to-be mother-in-law, and I stepping into each space, dreaming up a vision that balanced timeless European ballroom elegance with a flower-filled modern garden, layered in candlelight and a soft romantic glow. ✨

Between demanding schedules as two devoted doctors—and planning from across continents for their wedding in China last August—Annie and Vik brought personality and grace to every moment of the process. Annie stunned in a custom gown by Korean designer, Grace Kelly, an exquisite piece that perfectly reflected the fairytale story behind their celebration.

They ultimately chose one of our favorite preferred Atlanta venues, 42West Entertainment Group—a hidden Westside gem where industrial charm meets effortless sophistication. For me, it's the perfect modern blank canvas to turn any vision into a reality. What a night it became: a room full of loved ones, incredible food by Chef Drew from .catering , candlelit tables overflowing with florals, romantic drapery, and a dance floor that came alive with surprise entertainment that kept guests celebrating late into the evening.

A toast to Devleena, Gabriel, and both of their incredible families 🥂✨

Thank you for trusting our team to walk alongside you throughout the planning process. What began as a planner–client relationship quickly grew into a genuine friendship. Along the way, I developed such deep respect for the parents who raised two incredibly kind, adventurous, and hardworking people.

Over the past few days, one thing was undeniable—there was an overwhelming amount of love shared between both families and for both of you. In the quiet, in-between moments when I spoke with your parents, you could truly feel it. I had the privilege of hearing a father share the story of dropping his daughter off across the country at Georgia Tech—where she would later earn her PhD and meet a boy who would one day become her husband—just before walking her down the aisle. During the planning process, we were also lucky enough to share some wonderful meals with our couple and Gabriel’s parents. And the moment I heard the jump-scare story, I knew instantly—they were my kind of people.

Even as I write this, I’m filled with joy and gratitude for the experience of being part of your story. Congratulations to you both, and just as we said when we parted ways—forever friends. ✨
