Leo season is here, and that can only mean one thing: it’s Katie’s birthday!

Bring on the fiery passion, because that’s how Katie fuels her life. On any given day, she’s kicking ass running two businesses, picking the kids up from practice, planning a night out, and still finding five minutes to rearrange a shelf display because the color palette wasn’t hitting right. That’s just her, and we love her for it.

She brings beauty into the world, and while we’re so grateful she brings that eye to the shop, the real beauty is how she shows up for her friends and family. No birthday party is too big to plan, and if you need a volunteer, she’s there with a ready hand.

So here’s to Katie: business owner, mom, friend, and full-blown Leo in her prime. Sun, drink in hand, somewhere on a beach, her people close by…that’s where you’ll find her when she finally sits still.

Happy birthday, Katie. Salt + Grove (and all of us) are better because you’re in it.

Wishing this Gemini the happiest of birthdays today! Always curious, endlessly devoted to finding a way when things get tricky, and committed behind belief to her people, her career, and her dreams. Sarah is the operational backbone of our sweet shop, but also brings so much creativity and heart to it too. She is often the first person I call when I need someone to talk to, offer quality advice and absolutely when I need to understand what’s going on in the stars and if it’s the moon wreaking havoc everywhere. Happy birthday, Sarah! Hoping this trip around the sun is the best one yet!

New Englanders everywhere waiting as the warmer days round the corner, days getting longer means more time outside, more vitamin D, long walks, beach days, boat days, lake days. Downtown days. We’re so close.
There’s a special kind of “waiting” when you’re a shop owner, and we’d be lying if we said we aren’t anxiously awaiting more visitors to our sweet little walkable, shopable town. Winter is a different kind of challenging when you own a small business that strongly depends on people coming out. We get it, we hibernate too. But we are so ready!
We have been working behind the scenes to bring some fresh, good vibes-filled energy, and soon you’ll see what we have planned.
