I am sitting here crying over food and people and love… and oh, awards.
Happy tears. Overwhelmed tears. The kind of tears that come when you finally stop, take a breath, and realize how big this all really is.
We won two awards — Best of Weddings 2026 on The Knot and Couples’ Choice 2026 on WeddingWire — and I truly don’t even know how to put into words what this means to me… because this doesn’t feel like something we won. It feels like something we were given. By our couples. By our people.
Because this isn’t about a title.
This is about every couple who trusted us with the most important day of their lives. Every hug at the end of the night when our feet hurt and our hearts are full. Every “I love you” whispered in the chaos. Every thank-you text that shows up weeks later, when the wedding is already a memory but the feeling is still there. You didn’t just hire us… you let us be part of your story. And that is the greatest honor we could ever ask for.
This is about our Megan — our partner, my right hand, my calm when I’m spinning, my strength when I’m tired, the person who knows exactly what I need without me having to say a word. Our friendship and what we’ve built together, and the way we’ve grown together, means more to me than I could ever explain.
This is about our Graham — our constant, our steady, both Randy’s and my right hand, the calm smile in the middle of the storm, the one who is always ready, always positive, always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed. You are such a huge part of why our days run the way they do, and we are so incredibly lucky to have you.
This is about our children and our goddaughters… having you at our side, watching you grow, working as a family — that has been one of our greatest joys, and something that fills our heart every single day.
This is about our team — the people who carry heavy trays, light fires, run stations, bus and serve, set up and break down. You don’t just show up to work… you show up with heart. You care about our couples. You care about each other. And that kind of energy is everything.
This is about professional relationships that turned into real, deep friendships. The kind of people who show up, believe in you, and remind you who you are when you’re too busy taking care of everyone else. At Your Service by Christine, you were exactly what we needed when we needed it most. Samantha, Barbara, and Christine — this really is our year together. I love you all more than I can ever put into words, and I am so grateful that this journey includes you.
This is about having our family close. Being able to work this hard, chase this dream, and still have our people around us… that is something we don’t take lightly for one second. Our fathers, our mothers, our children, our nieces — that support, that love, that feeling of not doing this alone… we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
And most of all… this is about my husband.
My partner in life, in business, in every wild idea and every exhausting week. Watching you do what you love, watching you lead, create, problem-solve, and pour your heart into this… I am so unbelievably proud of you. None of this exists without you. And I am so grateful that I get to build this dream, this life, and this crazy beautiful business with the person I love.
So yes… we won awards.
But what we really have is people.
And love.
And stories.
And relationships that mean more to me than any trophy ever could.
