After 24 years, I finally made the big decision. I have retired from doing events and meetings at Windrose, effective June 30, 2025. It was a nostalgic and happy and long decision as this was my dream about 30 years ago with just a tiny little idea that grew in my brain for 7 years before I did something about it in 2001. I loved doing all the events and meetings and seeing 1000’s of people come through my doors. I will still live here, still be mowing the lawns, still have my short term rental, but spend more time at the coast. I am excited for my next chapter and look forward to whatever comes next.

My first ever group meeting was with a department of George Fox University. Thank you for all of your support GFU!! You were my biggest client and I thank you!! It was fitting that my last event was one I loved hosting throughout the years - a baby shower.

Thank you for all your support throughout the years. I am kind of proud that I succeeded even through Covid, economic downturns, and fire seasons. Onward and upward!!

75th birthday party here at Windrose utilizing the new gazebo! Has been a great addition to the courtyard. Events rain or shine now!!

I know it is raining but our spring has been exceptional! The flowers of Windrose will welcome you as you walk the grounds, smell the roses, and just maybe see a deer down by the creek. Business meetings, retreats, seminars, rehearsal dinners, showers, I welcome them all!!

PROM NIGHT!! Groups of Newberg High School friends took prom pictures at Windrose tonight. Such great kids and parents! Loved seeing the excitement and friendship of these kids. Have fun tonight!!

March 10, 2021 update: Yeah!! Beginning March 12, 2021, Yamhill County enters the MODERATE rank for Covid restrictions! Windrose has the following update on COVID restrictions for meetings and events: Indoors, a capacity of 25 people (my 'normal' is 50, so we are now at a 50% capacity). Outdoors we are at capacity of 70! So if you are thinking of having a grad party, anniversary, baby or bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, small wedding or elopement, or any kind of event outside, you can begin to plan and reserve a date. Smaller events of no more than 25 right now, such as business meetings, retreats, board meetings, etc. can be held inside. Give a call at 503-701-7273 to schedule a tour or reserve a date!
