🥁Gabriela Bornstein
Gabriela is a Brazilian born, NY based mixed media artist. Her work has always been about the connectedness between her and the world she is surrounded by. But during the pandemic, instead of looking outwards to find these connections, she looked inwards, what led her to research and develop paintings based on her imaginary ancestry heritage. Gabriela is an emerging artist and her accomplishments include being one of the 20 artists selected to participate in the NYFA Immigrant Mentoring Program. She has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including solo exhibitions and art residencies. She graduated in Communication Arts in 1994 in RJ, Brazil and has been living and working as a graphic designer and artist in NY since 1998.
🥁Angélica Walker
Angelica is a Foreign Law Consultant specializing in Art Law and Dispute Resolution. She has been a docent at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since 2007 and works at the intersection of art, cross-cultural dialogue, and urban culture, with a longstanding commitment to environmental activism.
