Well family, I've been through quite a bit in the last few months. One thing it has taught me: Live. To that end, I have been working on re-working my wedding/event planning business. It has been a roller coaster trying to establish myself as the consummate professional that people can turn to for their planning needs. People will look you over in a heartbeat; I've been looked at as someone who is just doing this as a hobby. Something to play around with and pass the time. I don't play with my passion. I live, eat, sleep this venture. I've been doing it since 2006, then 3 years ago, decided to show the world how dedicated I am, and became a Certified Wedding Planner. I know what I'm doing, and I love what I do. So... my new re-worked website is published. It's up and running. Go to the site and check it out. Share it with your friends and family. Good morning, Love Bugs! It's been a while since I posted, mainly due to having to reconstruct and rebuild mentally and emotionally for this business. Last year my downs were greater than my ups, being turned down and away from wedding gigs, and being looked at as just doing this like it's my hobby. Serenity's Moment Wedding Planning Services is no hobby. I will be redoing cards, advertising, everything. I'm just as good, if not better, at getting you to your defining Moment. Good evening, Love Bugs! Welp, Summer is almost over. Another Independence Day, cookout, beach day, and this August 16th made 10 years of marriage for me. Marriage is work and is NO JOKE! 10 years just doing it because I love it. 2 years running it as my certified business... because I love it.
I went to school and received my diploma in December of 2015, because I wanted future couples to know that I am serious about taking my love of wedding and event planning to heart.
I started this business 2 years ago, because I wanted to make my passion and love for assisting couples through one of the happiest days of theirs lives, a business realization. I love what I do, and want the chance to assist you with your happy day, as well. Good afternoon, Love Bugs! As I sit here thinking about how in less than 2 months, I will be married to my husband for 10 years, I'm also listening to New Edition's 🎵Can You Stand the Rain🎵. Listen... my marriage has had its ups and downs, but the real test of marriage, to me, is when you're in the midst of a hurricane. Are you able to hunker down with your Love and ride it out, with knowing that it's very possible that things around you can be torn up, smashed, thrashed, and tossed around? Or, are you only able to whisk through during the sunny days? Marriage is work! It ain't easy! And it can be down right scary; I know. I promise you this one thing, though. I will never, ever regret walking towards that man, down the aisle on August 16, 2008. Ready for whatever crazy weather was coming our way.
