Last week, we had two wonderful workshops, both led by our amazing TLM alums!

With Chaesong Kim (TLM ‘16), we learned about Pink Fang’s history and experimented with Ping Chong’s Undesirable Elements. On Friday, Ryan Haddad (TLM ‘14) guided us in exploring and sharing our own personal autobiographical stories with the group. There were so many moments that were truly moving. Thank you, Chaesong and Ryan!!!🫶🫶🫶

We kicked things off with a brave and joyful workshop with Deborah (and the fearless TruDee of course!) Today, we crafted our beloved paper puppets with Lake Simons and brought them to life!

New York City is the “laboratory” for our studies and artistic explorations. Each week is dedicated to a specific theme that connects all of the ideas and artistic approaches included. The semester culminates with an original student-generated ensemble performance presented by La MaMa at one of their renowned theaters.
