Triboro Events Provides Custom, Affordable Events Services for Weddings & Beyond
Queens, NY: With over fifteen years of experience in custom events planning and hospitality, the Triboro Events team understand the “ins and outs” of weddings and receptions, baby showers, milestones, fundraisers, gallery exhibits and beyond. With operations now underway, the Triboro Events team has worked diligently to develop a small business that is both comprehensive in services offered and affordable for the greater New York City events market.
Triboro Events strives to not just be any events company. “We put together custom, creative weddings, receptions, baby showers and other events, large or small and the key --- we do it efficiently and make it affordable for New York,” said Jon Maiman, founder and operations director at Triboro Events. While the average cost of a New York wedding is more than $50,000, Triboro Events offers comprehensive packages – from food and open bar to event space, set-up, decorations, entertainment, a photographer and more - for less than half of the average price. “We work with local businesses, artists and vendors to maximize our impact to our community – we’re all in this together. If we can create a successful business by giving other small businesses a chance while providing an amazing and affordable experience for our guests, we’re doing in right,” continued Jon.
One such small business Triboro Events has been working with is T Studio. This venue, the hidden gem of Astoria, boasts a 3000 sq ft industrial raw space with a gorgeous terrace in the historic Astoria Silk Works factory and houses both Tealicious, Inc. and Rolling Leaf, companies run by sisters Robin and Geniene Merendino. "Working with Triboro Events for their Astoria events has been a great experience for us", says Robin Merendino. "Jon and his team are diligent and efficient. They're able to showcase our unique space, put together amazing and unique events, large and small, and are committed to working with other vendors and small businesses in our area. We like that sense of community and reciprocity with our neighbors.”
The Triboro Events team will be hosting a free open house this Sunday, August 19th from 1-5pm at T Studios. The space is located at 38-01 23rd Avenue, Second Floor, Astoria, NY 11105. The event will feature complimentary drinks and hors-d'oeuvres and offer guests the opportunity to tour the indoor and terrace space, meet the team and start planning their special event.
