As we approach our favorite seasonal we prepare for all the new transitions we’ve been promising. First up- is our new menu. Our the last decade we’ve catered for events range from 100-500 people- phew!

We decided to focus on catering to smaller and intimate events as we set out to originally. This gives us the opportunity the expand in other areas and focus more on the detailing and stay true to our brand and mission.

Free-ish- Today marks the day in 1865 enslaved people in Galveston, Texas found out they had been freed.

Today, we thank and honor Ms. Opal Lee aka the Grandmother of Juneteenth. Without her this day wouldn’t be recognized and allah unna off from work and school would be in attendance. 🫡

We may have a long way to go still but on this day let’s remember how far our people have come and be grateful to be able to breathe the air we can freely breathe whenever we want! That- is our right that our ancestors fought for desperately and we should all not taketh for granted.
