I’m officially booking weddings for late 2026 and 2027, and I’m a wedding planner who specializes in working with q***r couples who want their wedding to feel intentional, personal, and actually fun to plan. You bring the ideas, I bring the joy (and the logistics!).

✨The Magic of Legacy Clients✨

There is something unbelievably tender about legacy clients. When a couple brings their friends to their wedding and those friends later ask me to walk with them through their own planning journey, it hits me right in the heart.

Every time it happens, it feels like the universe whispering that the work matters. That the calm, the joy, the care we created together stayed with them long after the last song. That they trusted me enough to pass my name to the people they love.

Legacy clients remind me why I do this. They make the job feel personal in the sweetest way. They turn weddings into woven stories where each celebration connects to the next.

Designing your wedding should feel like you. Not like a trend cycle or a board of “shoulds.” The best weddings begin with what already feels true.

If wedding design feels overwhelming, try this:

Close Pinterest.
Look around your home.
Notice what you already love.

The colors you live with. The textures you reach for. The spaces where you feel most like yourselves. These are clues.

A few guiding ideas:
🌈 Start with the feeling you want the day to hold
🌈 Choose details that feel personal, not perfect
🌈 Let your story guide the palette, objects, and materials
🌈 One meaningful touch goes farther than ten trendy ones

You do not need to reinvent yourselves to get married. You just need to honor who you already are.

Wedding season wrapped in pure joy for us at Emily Monus Events.

Austin and Luke gave us the most incredible finale.

Personal ceremony expertly led by their friend Nina. Stunning florals by .studio. Live music by Austin’s stepmother, Stacy. A dance floor that didn’t stop from DJ Karin and with . A Surprise drag queen. All heart.

My first wedding at and I already can’t wait to be back.
