We are rebranding!

Pic and Petal really just happened because I kept saying yes to anyone who asked me to do flowers for them. Then photos, and somehow it grew into this whole thing.

For the first several years, I continued saying yes, and giving a lot more than I needed to with both the floral product and with my time and energy. I had my first daughter and was back to work within a few weeks. I had my second and was literally in the hospital in labor, calling and managing freelancers because we had a big event that day. I was burnt out for years and just kept working through it.

This business may have started unintentionally, but I have finally begun to allow myself to slow down and to be more selective about upcoming projects that have less production, and more intention.

So, a new name. Le’at which means “slowly” in Hebrew. Le’at is a play on my name, Leatal, but slow is also how we design and source each stem to be impactful without being in your face

This one is called New Beginnings. Notice color transitions between stems and petals, not a traditional polkadot green and purple arrangement - rather a natures blend featuring hand picked flowers where both colors exist in each stem - hellebore, clematis, and Japanese ranunculus , curly allium, and sweet pea . All this for the first day of Spring and a Jewish coming of age celebration (bar mitzvah) for Oscar.
