Dr. Samora Smith, owner of Common Ground Ceremonies, is an interfaith wedding officiant specializing in all types of weddings and vow renewals -- interfaith, spiritual, non-denominational, LGBT -- in the New York City Tri-State area. May I reintroduce myself 💗💗

Hello, I am Rev. Dr. Samora. I love all things romantic, inclusive, and highly vibrational. I identify as spiritual-but-not-religious because I believe we are all connected by something greater than ourselves. Love is my vibration and unity is my power. When I am not performing a ceremony, you might find me:

A. Dreaming up my next retreat or gathering for a healing circle.

B. Singing in a rock band called Sonic Boom Squad

C. Performing a sound bath immersion or past-life healing ceremony

D. Bringing cultural awareness as an indigenous performer and educator with the PAZA Experience

E. Running The Interfaith Temple and co-directing The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies (the first school of its kind)

F. Cooking up a yummy vegetarian meal from a recipe I just found on social media.

G. Taking a drive to a beautiful spot and spending time in nature.
