Imagine waking up to the news that Iran had bombed the White House, killed the U.S. president, and taken the life of Tiffany, his 14-month-old granddaughter. What would the headlines say? What would politicians call it? Would anyone describe it as “peace,” “freedom,” or “defense”? No. The world would call it terrorism, aggression, and an unforgivable act of war.

Now reverse the names and look at the same reality. When the U.S. bombs Tehran, kills Iran’s leader, and a 14-month-old child named Zahra dies in the attack, suddenly the language changes. Suddenly it becomes strategy, security, stability, or peace.

That is the hypocrisy people are being asked to ignore. A child’s life does not become less valuable because of her nationality. Grief does not change meaning depending on who drops the bomb. So the real question is simple: why is one tragedy called terrorism, while the other is sold as peace?

That sounds noble until you look at the bigger picture.

Trump may have skipped a government paycheck, but his latest financial disclosures show he made more than $2.2 billion in total income last year, including over $1.4 billion from crypto-related ventures and meme coin deals. So the story is not really about a president sacrificing $400,000. It is about a president giving up pocket change while cashing in on an empire of private ventures tied to his name, influence, and political power.

Refusing a salary means very little when the same person is making billions elsewhere. The public is being asked to applaud a symbolic gesture while ignoring the much larger question: how much money should a sitting president be able to make while holding the most powerful office in the country?

Netanyahu really said: “Did the N***s politely ask Jews to leave? Did they say, ‘Please go’? ‘Step out so we can move in’? Of course not.”

And somehow he thought that was a defense.

What he actually exposed was the logic of forced displacement dressed up as humanitarian concern. When a leader starts comparing mass removal of civilians to N**i crimes in order to justify his own military policy, the projection becomes impossible to ignore.

He tried to argue that warnings make everything moral. But telling people to flee before destroying their homes does not erase the violence. It does not erase the starvation, the bombing, the displacement, or the suffering.

That statement did not clear his name.

It revealed the mindset.

Perfect projection.

Major development: Thomas Massie says he is bringing a privileged resolution to force transparency on members of Congress who allegedly used taxpayer dollars to settle sexual misconduct claims.

This should not be controversial.

If public money was used to quietly make misconduct claims disappear, the public has every right to know who benefited from that secrecy. Taxpayers should not be treated like an unlimited legal defense fund for powerful politicians who want accountability hidden behind closed doors.

Victims’ personal information should absolutely be protected. But protecting victims is not the same thing as protecting politicians.

Congress lectures the country about accountability, ethics, and the rule of law all the time. Now it has a chance to apply those standards to itself.

Release the names. Release the amounts. Show the public who used taxpayer money and why.
