✨ For decades, the Illuminating Engineering Society NYC’s Lumen Awards have found a home at Pier Sixty, bringing together the brightest minds in architectural lighting for an evening that celebrates innovation, creativity, and design.

This year’s celebration welcomed more than 750 industry professionals for a memorable night overlooking the Hudson River. From the elegant awards program and immersive décor to the glowing Afterglow party filled with music, entertainment, and unforgettable moments, every detail reflected the artistry and imagination that define this remarkable event.

We are honored to continue hosting this iconic annual tradition and proud to provide the backdrop for an evening that shines a spotlight on excellence in lighting design.

This morning our team spent Pride at Hudson River Park’s River Project Wetlab on Pier 40, helping monitor the oysters quietly restoring the estuary just beyond our doors — cleaning, weighing, measuring, and learning how much life moves beneath the water we look out on every day.

Celebrating Pride together, on the river, doing work rooted in care and community. That’s who we are, in every color. 🏳️‍🌈🦪

Pride Month is a beautiful reminder that every family deserves to be celebrated, supported, and seen. 🌈

We were honored to welcome Family Equality back to Pier Sixty for another unforgettable Night at the Pier, bringing together more than 900 advocates, families, artists, and changemakers in support of LGBTQ+ families nationwide.

From inspiring honorees and Broadway performances to a surprise musical moment and an outpouring of generosity that raised $1.1 million, the evening reflected the power of community and the joy of coming together with purpose.

Thank you to Family Equality for continuing to create spaces where love, belonging, and advocacy shine so brightly. We are proud to host gatherings that help move important conversations forward and celebrate families in all their beautiful forms.

This year’s Cheers to Wishes brought together supporters, partners, volunteers, and wish families for an inspiring evening dedicated to creating life-changing moments for children facing critical illnesses.

We were proud to host at The Lighthouse for another remarkable celebration of generosity, hope, and possibility. Events like these are a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a shared mission fills a room.

M&D’s wedding at The Lighthouse brought together more than 250 family members and friends for an unforgettable evening of heartfelt moments, breathtaking waterfront views, and a dance floor that carried the celebration late into the night.

During Pride Month, we’re especially grateful to witness and celebrate love stories that remind us of the beauty of connection, community, and being surrounded by the people who matter most.
