Since 2012, the Impulse Team has been called in to plan and produce Tom Colicchio's annual Toast to the Children Event and we couldn't be happier that each year gets more successful than the last! With 500 attendees and over 25 Food & Beverage Vendors participating, Riverpark and The Alexandria Center are always filled with guests enjoying an incredible assortment of tasting menu items and specialty cocktails as well as an impressive array of Silent Auction items, comprised of custom works of art, experiential packages, Tumi luggage, and many other items generously donated to the organization.

With an event that sells out every year and boasts an incredible return rate for attendees, the goal is always to keep up momentum and introduce new and exciting elements. Impulse begins working with the Clients on the following year almost immediately after the conclusion of each event to ensure seamless transitions and constant communication so that as all the new details and moving parts materialize, Impulse can take over all vendor and venue coordination and streamline everything for the Clients so that they can focus on the most important part: The Children and everything they are able to receive through the programs offered by Children of Bellevue.

​Our friends at VaynerMedia knew there was only one phone call to make when their Clients at Pencils of Promise were in need of some highly specialized A/V equipment and a custom designed video wall in order to continue to elevate the experience they have been providing to their attendees for years. With their new white tent venue requiring a great deal of design, lighting and rentals to make it feel like a premiere event space, Impulse got right to work in understanding the Client’s vision and needs to make sure we could far exceed expectations and give VaynerMedia, PoP and all of the guests an atmosphere and ambiance as impressive and exciting as the incredible honorees being celebrated that night and all the work Pencils of Promise is doing for children and access to education all over the world.

The result, a tremendously successful evening during which this incredible organization was able to raise over Two Million Dollars and fund the building of even more schools throughout the world in 2018.

​Impulse Productions was beyond honored to be contacted by the team that created the concept of Jerry's House in order to conceptualize, plan and produce the inaugural Legionnaires of Laughter Gala honoring all those who have had a global impact through comedy. As the actual awards were a surprise, Impulse's first task was to come up with an overall concept that integrated the formality of a Black Tie Gala with the Jerry Lewis inspired fun that brought all of these people together from start to finish. Using his infamous red-nose campaign and introducing the world to Lochie, the Australian Boy who at 6 years old became Jerry's partner in bringing laughter to those in need, Impulse spent two years building the ultimate event to properly honor such an incredible list of people.

The event was hosted at one of New York's most prestigious venues, Cipriani Wall Street, and from Clown Doctors on the Red Carpet to celebrity hosts Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood, the laughs truly never ended and all for such an incredible cause, promoting Jerry's House and how impactful these programs can be in places as close to home as Bellevue Hospital, the first in the country to partner with Jerry's House. The evening ended with a Lifetime Achievement Award, named after Robin Williams and presented to his family and friends as well as the promise that honoring all those who understand that the power of comedy transcends race, gender, religion and age will continue, for Jerry and for everyone he has inspired.

While the world has lost a legend, we are forever grateful for having had the opportunity to work with Jerry and his teams in the United States and Australia in bringing his vision to life and look forward to carrying on his Legacy of Laughter for years to come.

​After his son learned to play “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” on his guitar, and being known for his parties, Jay Kurani saw his 40th birthday as the perfect opportunity to bring together all of his favorite things: His family, his friends, scotch, Cristal and music! Once the decision was made that Mike Posner would be the highlight of the event, Jay knew he needed to up the ante and call in the professionals to create a party that would be as impressive, memorable and exciting and the performance.

Impulse got to work right away on finding venues suitable not only for the Kurani’s premium tastes, but that could accommodate a full blown concert as well. After looking at venues all over Manhattan of every size and style, Cipriani Wall Street was the perfect fit and it was time to get to work creating a look and feel that would uphold the pristine architecture and high energy atmosphere. From the custom built bars and the elaborate floral designs to the carefully sourced linen and furniture rentals and high tech lighting design, every inch of the enormous space was masterfully put together to ensure a “WOW” factor unlike any other.

Impulse also coordinated with PR, Tour and Production Management teams to handle all of the technical and hospitality riders of 92.3’s DJ NIko, Billboard Artists Parson James and Conrad Sewell as well as for headlining performer Mike Posner and his band to build a complete, concert ready stage and sound system - and even arranged for confetti cannons just to add yet another finishing touch to this perfect evening.

​When Marketing Mogul, Gary V, decided to begin doing thematic installations in his Wine Library, he knew he could trust his friends at Impulse to get the job done quickly, efficiently and creatively, in a very short amount of time. After an initial site inspection, Team Impulse got right to work building a scene which would be able to tie together the excitement and buzz of football season and that which Wine Library is most known for: Wine. An 8 foot goal post was built which doubled as an LED color changing Wine Rack showcasing the featured brand of the month and completely covered in natural cork! No goal post would be complete without a field and so a custom football field carpet was created with Wine Library’s logos prominently featured in the end zones.

We know our friends the Kurani’s know how to party! So after the incredible event Impulse put together for her husband’s 40th Birthday party, Jenny knew exactly who to call when it was her turn to celebrate a milestone. Given that her husband’s party was a Saturday night in December, Jenny wanted to totally switch gears and take full advantage of the long summer hours with a brunch party from 1pm-8pm. With summer, sun and elegance being the key elements, Impulse worked with Jenny to develop a fully immersive Enchanted Garden theme in which she could truly be a Celebrity for a day.

After visiting over 20 locations, we finally found the perfect venue on Park Avenue, the Patio at Inside Park. Given that Inside Park is a restaurant and we had a party beginning at 1pm the next day, Impulse had a full crew on site all night long in order to get every minute possible to make this dream come true. After erecting the 50’ x 60’ tent, it was time to load in equipment to start building a false ceiling so that we could create a true atmosphere of being in a forest. As the rigging and construction team went to work on the ceiling and walls, the rest of the crew got to work on the custom wrap for the pre-existing bar to make it look like a giant tree stump, the checkerboard dance floor, stage for the jazz ensemble and celebrity DJ’s, custom hung bistro lighting and certainly the most impressive entrance Park Avenue has ever seen!

By the time the Kurani family arrived the day of the party, they could not believe the overnight transformation and how much more extravagant and exciting the venue had become, beyond even their wildest dreams. From the moss carpet to the tropical ferns, the ivy growing up every line of the tent to the floral drop ceiling and custom trellis walls, each piece of hand selected and custom built furniture and right down to the handmade centerpieces, it was clear how much time, resources and attention to detail Impulse dedicated to bring Jenny’s vision to life.

​Being world-renowned for their unbelievable food and impeccable customer service, Sodexo knew they needed the right team to uphold their high standards when it came time to impress the executives of American Airlines. Inside Park, an Ornate Church turned restaurant, was the perfect setting to show American Airlines just how impressive Sodexo’s transformation of their flagship dining and lounge experiences could be by completely transforming the venue.

With only 2 weeks with which to prepare, the Impulse Team got right to work finding the perfect furniture (including commissioning custom pieces) backdrops, draping, lighting and more to truly bring the Sodexo team’s vision to life. Every detail from the custom red carpets to the florals and plateware was carefully selected to ensure that these high level guests would be blown away by the experience and be even more excited for the future experience of all their frequent flyers!

​After being honored with the opportunity to host an official NewFronts event, NowThis Media knew they would need to make their event stand out from all the others happening during the 9-day series in New York City. Given the success of our previous events with their associated company, Thrillist, they again called in the Impulse Team. With a white box venue and only a few weeks to plan, Impulse jumped right in and began creating a total design overhaul to turn this white box and balcony into a dynamic event space. The entire room was wrapped in a custom decal highlighting all of the NowThis channels and featured images and the space was illuminated with custom branded bars. A 14 foot video wall was the backdrop to the stage allowing presenters to show off their contributions to the Digital world and when the presentations were done, guests were able to enjoy their cocktails while admiring the view from the top floor’s wrap around balcony.

The Marketing Team at Movable Ink are all too familiar with the challenges in not only grabbing, but moreso maintaining attention​ in today’s world. When the company decided to host their very first event, they knew they needed some help in ensuring that the guest experience was exciting, seamless and unlike any other. From the very first conversation, the Impulse Team knew that Movable Ink needed new, innovative and very different ways of hosting their Think Summit so that it did more than just stand out from the standard expectations.

Every detail of the room, decor, menu, run of show, layout and presentations were thoroughly thought out and perfectly executed to make sure the entire day way dynamic and created a platform to grow and expand from their first event. Allowing our Clients to really focus on their presenters and guests, Impulse took over all venue, vendor and event management and the event actually grew from the initial expectation of 100 guests to over 150.

​After experiencing some unexpected obstacles, our Clients at The Green Beret Foundation were introduced to Impulse by a board member who had been involved in a few other Military aligned events that Impulse had produced. With plenty to do and only a few weeks to do it, Impulse jumped right in and immediately began getting the event back on track. From handling the venue and vendors, to coordinating all of the AV components and bringing in our amazing PR Partner to regain social momentum and ticket sales, the Impulse team gave our Clients the ability to focus on their guest lists, honorees and MOST importantly providing tremendous support to The Green Berets and their families.

When our friends in the Florida headquarters at Triad Retail Media learned they would be doing another New York event, the first call they made was to Impulse. With only a few weeks to plan, the Impulse team jumped right in to assist with venue selection, vendor management, decor, contracts and more! After securing a premier downtown venue, Impulse worked with the hotel’s team to create the most ideal floor plan and layout, right down to which tables and linens would need to be rented to make the space look impeccable. Impulse simultaneously worked with the team at Triad to ensure that every aspect of the event was well thought out, properly branded and from the moment guests arrived, designed to showcase the impressive accomplishments of their high profile clients.

As an organization that is already gaining such momentum and having offices in 30 different countries, it was time for Sightsavers to bring Graeme Robertson’s photo exhibition to The UN Summit in New York City. After a week of displaying The Guardian Photographer’s images in the UN Building, the Sightsavers organization held a private viewing after the Summit for select guests, members of the media and even the President of Ireland. The goal for this event was to promote the networking opportunities of attendees while simultaneously providing a more interactive and personal experience with the photos.

With our primary clients being located at their headquarters in London, Impulse jumped right in to get the ball rolling on finding a premiere venue that was the appropriate caliber, atmosphere, size and layout for an event of this nature. Once Riverpark was secured, Impulse created a perimeter rigging system that would provide the proper balance of “in your face” presence while still being elegant and promoting ease of conversation and movement within the space.

As an organization so highly focused on the social inclusion of persons with disabilities, Impulse also worked with the clients to ensure that all accessibility measures were taken to accommodate a variety of special needs guests. From ensuring proper handicap accessibility to providing interpreters, stenographers, audio devices and braille guides, every measure was taken to ensure that each and every guest would feel comfortable, included and have the proper means to be able to fully enjoy the event and appreciate the incredible work that Sightsavers is doing around the world.
