Hello everyone. I created this groups to discuss the music, culture and dramatic changes in our community. Unfortunately, I didn't keep up with it due to health issues and to be honest, with you, a lack of interest. I was suffering from a bad case of depression and discomfort of events that were occurring in my life. I had loss the interest to play, go out and socialize with my friends and peers, and to keep up with the music, that is coming out way to fast for me. So now I am part of a new venue, which is in Harlem, and the party is entitled UNIVERSAL LOVE OF HOUSE MUSIC. It will be at SAVANNAH RAE RESTAURANT located at 2070 ADAM CLAYTON POWELL BLVD, corner of 124th Street. So I feel that this must be the right time for me to get busy! So even though I will not be playing every week, there will be several djs on rotation that are exceptional in there.craft. A FLYER will be available asap with the new schedule. I would like to give thanks to Denise Station, co-owner and host of the restaurant, as well as my dear friend Lisa Mathis for making this possible. Yes, SAVANNAH RAE is a restaurant/bar. But on Sundays we move out most of the tables and chairs nd have a tea dance from 5pm to 10pm. There is no cover charge, just one drink minimum. Were just getting off the ground, so we would love to see you at some point and experience our contribution to our community. I hope you will understand that life can sometimes be so overwhelming that you just have to disconnect and allow yourself to just BREATHE. Thank you all for all of the love and support you have shown me throughout the years. I am truly grateful. And a special THANK YOU to all who have come by. WE TRULY APPRECIATE YOU!
