I finished off a week of 14 CNY library shows with a performance at my childhood library in Western New York. I learned magic during my elementary school years from the books at the Elma Public Library, so my career choice is all their fault. My three sisters were in attendance at the show, as were their spouses, children, & grandchildren, high school classmates and, of course, lots of community kids. During the show, I traumatized only two of the children in the audience – a record low for me. Ultimately, though, everyone seemed to have a great time, myself included.

ANNOUNCING MY 2026 SUMMER LIBRARY TOUR

Below is a full schedule of 28 magic show dates in NYC, CNY, and – for the first time – a show at the Elma Public Library, my hometown library in WNY!

In recognition of this summer's nationwide library theme, "Unearth a Story", I've created a dinosaur-themed show. In the 45-minute show, ‘Jurassic Dave’ will need to use his magic to stop the dinosaurs that are threatening to eat all the books in the library.

‘Captain Underpants’ is the hero in a series of kids’ books I’ll be promoting during my library tour next month, and I just created these props for the show. How many people do you know that spend their mornings making tiny silken underpants?
