This wedding was such a special way to catapult going full-time as a photographer! They got married at their alma mater, and continued their festivities at (epic reception photos to come - the party did NOT stop). The love for their school, their families and each other was palpable. And Fordham University Church is absolutely stunning. So many more beautiful photos to come! Congratulations on almost 2 months of marriage!

A new season calls for a new check-in post! If you're new here, HIYA 👋 I'm Sarah. I'm an NYC-based photographer specializing in all things love. From proposals and engagements to weddings and City Hall elopements, I'm your planning assistant and hype girl with a camera in hand. A few fun facts about me:

‼️I recently left my full-time job to take my photography business full time! (spooky but exciting 👻)

From sending you exact location pins to reminding you to maintain good posture while you pop down on one knee (it makes a hugeeee difference), I've got you covered. The first fall colors of Prospect Park have made their appearance and they will NOT last long! If you want Central Park vibes for your engagement photos but without the tourists or the crowds, Prospect Park is your best bet! It’s the same designer as Central Park and you will feel like you’re living in your very own fall wonderland 🍂

How it started ➡️➡️ how it's going. It's amazing what can change in just 4 years. Making my way up to New Haven for H & N's engagement photos in East Rock in 2023, blending seamlessly into their gorgeous wedding in Edgerton Park (capturing them on the dance floor at a few more of their friends' weddings along the way 🥰), and getting the opportunity to celebrate their newest addition to their family has been the most incredible honor. These two gave me some of my earliest east coast / NYC photo opportunities and I am forever grateful to them, and of course to one of my besties (she knows who she is) for recommending her friends use me for their photographable moments. Referrals are everything 🤭

The best part about doing engagement sessions and proposals in Central Park is that it challenges me to get creative with new ideas, angles and shots. These two were such amazing sports as I bounced around them, inspired as though I was seeing Bethesda Terrace for the first time! I'm stokeddddd about how these all turned out and am so honored to have helped R & G celebrate heading into their next chapters as fiancés in the city that brought them together!

Fall spots for proposals, engagements and mini sessions are going quickly! If you want to snap some pics before the trees lose their leaves, let's put a session on the cal! Okay with that new rooftop view! I see you. What an honor to be a part of M & L's engagement overlooking the Empire State Building. M flew in from out of state to crash L's girl's weekend with her cousin. And you can tell from her face (slide 3) that she did NOT expect to see him waiting for her on that rooftop surrounded by gorgeous decor by . Tears were shed. Rings were accepted. And even more tears were shed when he revealed that they would not be flying home the next day, but they'd continue their celebration in Miami instead! My whole heart!!! ❤️

I'm working on getting together a list of places to accommodate the very popular request for rooftop proposals. It's not an easy task, but I'm determined to help my clients plan the proposals of their dreams!

ETERNALLY SCREAMING forever and ever because these photos from Sao Miguel, Portugal are literally what dreams are made of. I met these two beautiful doctors on a canyoning tour with (couldn't recommend enough, btw)! They were kind enough to let me photograph them at their awesomely unique windmill (cue the Bachelorette references).

I'm so grateful that my hobbied-turned-side-hustle-turned-full-time-job has brought me to some beautiful places and to even more beautiful people on my journeys.

So I'll probably be obsessing over these for quite some time now. Won't you join me?
