Feeling so sentimental this week - my house is full of major milestones. My oldest graduated college and turned 21 in the same week and my daughter is heading off to university next week (I’ll post her bat mitzvah next 🫶). I wanted to take a minute to revisit this absolutely epic night. I always use my kids as little test subjects and I will tell you a Bar Mitzvah in a bus garage is the most iconic statement for a true New Yorker.

I’m so sentimental … today is Leah’s 15th birthday and, of course, I’m struck my the passing of time. If there was ever an event that fully represented a kid it’s this one- it was unique as a daytime luncheon, guests in suits with a live band. It represented all of her favorite things, polka dots, books, art, shake shack and little plants. And it was full of love- with a room filled with only our dearest friends and family. I wish we could do it all again!
